Getting An MBA In A Year.

In Europe it is common to find an MBA degree available in just one years study. However, that should not be taken to mean that a European degree is less valuable – or intense, as the entry qualifications for both are broadly similar.

The one year MBA will normally require management experience. If you have a bachelors degree in a management of business subject then it will usually be possible to gain entry with just a few years experience. For those without a bachelors in a business or management field then substantial management experience will be required.

Taking an MBA degree in a year will require commitment and discipline – especially if you haven't studied for a while. You will be expected to already have the theoretical business and management knowledge of a good bachelors degree in business and management.

Fortunately one year MBA programmes tend to focus more on the practical aspects of business management. This is where the experience will prove useful, and why schools require that experience.

The one year MBA is also an excellent chance to do some valuable networking with future leaders in business and management. The contacts that are made on these courses are often worth more than the actual course.
